WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DOWNSIZE - retirement, more freedom to travel and less garden & maintenance of a larger home, security living in a village. HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT EDENLIFE - loving the southwest, we first viewed Edenlife online whilst looking at others in this area, but this one ticked all our boxes. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF EDENLIFE - we liked what we saw! The layout of the village, the overall size when finished, the communal areas appealed to us both. WHY DID YOU DECIDE ON EDENLIFE - The position and the homes were affordable, allowing us to finish our choice of home as we wanted. WHAT ARE YOU ENJOYING ABOUT LIVING IN AN EDENLIFE COMMUNITY - to live amongst like-minded people, to chat and mix with others as you walk around the village, a feeling you don't have in suburbia. To be able to use the facilities provided and to go away knowing your home is safe.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DOWNSIZE - 2021 was Colin's annus horribilis, with a serious heart attack followed some months after with an initially devastating stroke. It made us both realise that we weren't bulletproof anymore and that our current house and half acre property was getting too much. We wanted to unshackle ourselves from that burden and start making time on our hands to enjoy life. HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT EDENLIFE - hours of searching the internet and good time spent on their excellent website. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF EDENLIFE - simply WOW! The huge brick clubhouse was amazing, the grounds immaculate and well ordered and the existing residents we met were so warm and immediately engaging. WHY DID YOU DECIDE ON EDENLIFE - After living in and renovating a 1960's house for 17 years, we wanted something that was brand new and finished, inside and out. Plus we had seen and done everything in our old location, so that Edenlife was in Australind surrounded by so many new opportunities really appealed to us. On top of that was the low financial entry commitment until we sold our house. It was a winning combination. WHAT ARE YOU ENJOYING ABOUT LIVING IN AN EDENLIFE COMMUNITY - great location, magnificent clubhouse, friendly and helpful administrative staff, like-minded positive fellow residents. A very social atmosphere mixed with a lot of laughs and banter.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DOWNSIZE - getting older + large house and property, children all making their own lives. Time to lessen the workload in the garden, house etc. HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT EDENLIFE - advert on TV. Our contact with Linda was very helpful and their brochures were impressive. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF EDENLIFE - just a pile of dirt at first. Wow, then things started to progress. We now own our little house, beautifully styled, no exit fees. WHY DID YOU DECIDE ON EDENLIFE - wanted to be nearer to family, nice location, close to shopping centres and doctor's surgery, lovely residents, we are very happy. WHAT ARE YOU ENJOYING ABOUT LIVING IN AN EDENLIFE COMMUNITY - relaxation!! Lovely activities, great residents. Love Saturday afternoon movies in our fantastic theatre where we meet to pick a movie, bingo, so much to do and no obligation to do if you don't want to. No pressure. Love it 100%

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DOWNSIZE - we were travelling to Bunbury due to illness for treatment. Our yard was getting difficult to manage so we decided we should downsize and move. HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT EDENLIFE - our daughter lives in Millbridge and told us to go have a look at Edenlife. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF EDENLIFE - we liked the country feel and we knew a few people here and our daughter lives close by. Plus we have 3 shopping centres close by, also doctors and everything we need. WHAT ARE YOU ENJOYING ABOUT LIVING IN AN EDENLIFE COMMUNITY - love this community, we enjoy social life, move theatre and get togethers, strolling in the vegie garden is great as well. Short drives to shops and family.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DOWNSIZE - a huge beautiful garden & a big beautiful house on over half an acre became too much. Age, timing and financially stable. HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT EDENLIFE - We knew we didn't want to be too close to Perth and Australind was a nice place to be, just under 2 hours to Perth. So I googled 'retirement Australind'and Edenlife came up. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF EDENLIFE - beautiful setting, modern facilities in a fabulous clubhouse and quality homes. WHY DID YOU DECIDE ON EDENLIFE - close to Perth, freeway & beach/water, close to amenities plus shops and parklands, choice of lovely homes and a secure investment. WHAT ARE YOU ENJOYING ABOUT LIVING IN AN EDENLIFE COMMUNITY - people, management, social life and personal security. It's like being in a small suburb! Your own backyard, garden and privacy but the added bonus of the clubhouse.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DOWNSIZE - we wanted to make the move and downsize while we still had the "wherewithall" and the strength to execute the challenge. HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT EDENLIFE - we lived in Balwyn Road, facing the Edenlife development and watched it grow, literally from the ground up. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF EDENLIFE - from the very start, Linda and Kelli have been absolutely outstanding to deal with. VERY efficient, thoughtful, kind and understanding. We have nothing but gratitude and praise for the way they have dealt with our entry to Edenlife. WHY DID YOU DECIDE ON EDENLIFE - having "shopped around" and looked at many lifestyle and retirement opportunities, locally here and in the Bunbury region and in the vicinity of Mandurah, we concluded that Edenlife offered the best location, a range that accommodated our budget and in addition, very favourable entry and exit conditions. Now that we are residents, we are VERY happy with our decision. This is especially significant because at the first mention of Edenlife, my said "over my dead body" , but here we are and she is absolutely excited.
