Norm Jones, Sales Manager
Starting his property career over 30 years ago, Norm brings a wealth of experience to Edenlife. His interest in people and relaxed and engaging approach to finding the most suitable home for his clients, has resulted in over 900 successful transactions.
Norm is old school, preferring a personal catch up and chat over a cuppa than emails and other faceless approaches. He says “by the time people have come to the decision to look at community living, there is a lifetime of stories under the belt. Everyone has a story and I love to hear about it. I am astonished by what people have achieved, the lands they have traversed and relationships, both good and bad, they have encountered”.
Norm describes his last 7 years in the lifestyle and retirement village industry as by far the most rewarding and says “Until I witnessed it myself, I had no idea how happy people were after becoming a part of a lifestyle community. The connection and camaraderie really can make an enormous difference to people’s lives. The common story of wishing the decision had been made much earlier is repeated daily”.
Away from work, Norm is enthusiastic about sport and radio. He has coached and played many sports, particularly cricket, AFL, golf and squash. His 3 adult children remain heavily connected to sport with his eldest son officiating in the AFL at the top level. Norm volunteers as a broadcaster with Vision Radio Australia on 990AM Information Radio, “we are a dedicated reading station supporting the vision impaired and print handicapped”.
